Origami Licensing & Pricing Model

Licensing overview

Origami Connect is licensed for use within your Microsoft 365 tenant.
It is not a hosted SaaS subscription and does not require ongoing payments to continue using the software once licensed.

Customers typically purchase:

  • An initial license (and setup, if applicable)

  • An optional renewal for enhancements, new web parts, and support


One-time license

The Origami license grants you the right to:

  • Install Origami components in your tenant

  • Use the licensed version indefinitely

  • Create and customize SharePoint intranet pages using Origami web parts and templates

There is no forced subscription required to continue using the licensed software.


Optional renewal (updates & support)

Origami offers an optional renewal that provides:

  • Product updates and new features

  • Compatibility updates for Microsoft 365 changes

  • Technical support and troubleshooting assistance

If the renewal is not continued:

  • Existing installed Origami components continue to function

  • No new updates or support are provided

  • Customers may renew later if they choose


Licensing scope

Licensing is typically based on:

  • Organization or tenant

  • Number of support personnel in your organization

  • The agreed license terms in your quote or agreement

Licenses are non-transferable and apply only to the licensed organization and tenant.

Support eligibility

Technical support is available only during an active renewal period.

This ensures:

  • Fair access to support for renewing customers

  • Continued investment in product maintenance and security updates

Customers without an active renewal can still:

  • Use the licensed software

  • Renew support at a later date if needed

Pricing depends on:

  • Number of support personnel

  • License duration and renewal options
